Last Thursday we received the following message:

Hello all,

As you may know, the start of initrd builds for RC2 is planned for Okt 8.
I have only this evening learned that the official build of the manual
currently takes place at the same time.
!! This would only give you one day (until about *02:00 UTC tomorrow*) to
!! make sure your translation is up-to-date and builds OK.
This is especially important as it is very likely RC2 will ship with Sarge.

basically it meant that d-i RC2 was about to be released and d-i manual will be frozen and no further changes will be allowed on the final release of sarge!. That wasn't *any* good, since the spanish translation for d-i manual still had some gotchas and yes, it sucked a bit. We decided that it wasn't in a releaseable state and let -boot people know that. But even that we started to work as crazy monkeys on review the most we could. After a couple of hours there were light in the dark, some build didn't work (yes that's bad of course) and the frozen was postponed until this monday!

So, we started to organize a bit this situation and asigned tasks and sections to review, basically me, jfs and nahoo. Asked for help to the l10n list and work and work. The good, and bad, news are that I've spent the weekend at home working on it, not going anywhere, and getting a: "you are always busy" (that wasn't *any* good actually). However, spanish d-i manual seems, at least for me, pretty suitable and ready for inclusion on sarge yay!. I hope my colleages agree on this and we can tell -boot people to do so, so my spanish speaking fellows will have a pretty cool manual for installing their universal rocking operating system :)
