You bet it! I had a mix of feelings these days since for one side (the bad news) a couple of my beloved packages will not make it unfortunately. I was a bit lazy to get them ready and the last-minute-intend didn't worked also, so I requested to kick out torcs from Sarge. I want to apologize to all Debian torcs users but honestly it wasn't on a releaseable shape, I'm sorry. But don't worry you can always enjoy it from etch, I'll be doing a new upload this week with new upstream version and more improvements. Other good news are that I'm talking with the new project leader and he has showed his will to work together and has been so kind to watch the patches and thank for my work, this feels good!

On the other front I was trying to follow the RC bug list to see if I can help out there, I did send a patch for osgcal, I'm not sure if it'll make get it on sarge but I hope the maintainer found it useful. RC bugs seems to be under-control but somehow someone manages to add another one! evil users, anyway this seems to be under schedule so this gives a good feeling on release date. I said I have some feelings, one of it is particular since it's my first release as I'm being more involved into the project, so I'll have a good memory of this. However I still feel that I could make it better, anyway I commit myself to change this in the future.

On the Xfce front I've been working on some QA of our packages also, this week we were hit by the new release. I've been doing some ITPs for some of the xfce4-goodies in behalf of the brave Xfce maintainers :) I have a good feeling that this time (post Sarge of course) we'll have a very good and solid Xfce desktop for Debian users to enjoy.

And finally, I just received the invitation for DebConf5, unfortunately I'll not make it due a number of reasons mainly money and time. I want to thank people who was so kind to look for a slot to get sponsorship for me and those (you know who you are) who encouraged me to try to make it, sadly I'll not see some of you :( I hope you have a great time over there and have a great Sarge party! I'm looking forward to see you at DebConf6 in Mexico!
