tengo un monton de cosas que hacer y poco tiempo como para contarlas, esto es malo, aver me acuerdo que tengo trabajo pendiente para el web, condorux, btw dieguito hizo un borrador de logo sobre un condor el cual me ha gustado mucho y creo que lo pondremos como nuevo logo :)

hmmm que mas? decisiones, trabajo administrativo en la asociación, uy tengo que organizar a mi grupo de trabajo para Huascarán, y jane tuvo problemas con la mainboard, el error mas raro del planeta, no sale energía para el conector del cooler lol, yo pense que era que el cooler estaba malo y lo reemplace pero no! era otro problema, asi que tuve que "robarle" el conector a la tarjeta de video }:> espero luego cambiar eso, y bueno mas cosas que ya no me acuerdo, omg esto no es sostenible mas, ¿alguien le sobra tiempo? ¡se lo compro!

Well finally I've take care of my Debian maintainer tasks, such close bugs and work on freeglut which I think now is ok. Let's see what people says about it. I've take care of some usbmgr's bugs, but I still have a couple open to work on.

I've made some l10n work most on DWN, we are on very good shape!, btw EsDebian a spanish Debian related site, published my DWN minihowto I hope that could help to atract more people to colaborate. I did some pending work on Debian installer dialogs also, so we can base system fully localized yay! Now are going to work on installation documment. I'll rebuild my TODO list once I wake up, now I just need to sleep(), I'm listening trance but it doesn't help to keep me awake!

I was kind of thinking about my personal believes about human and couple relationships, and most of them are particulary alike free software ideas, so I was thinking, sometimes I tought it's a funny joke, but I think it can be some serious. So I'm going to put this on paper and let people know, here is my proposition. :)

GNU/Love is a way to live together with people you love withouth being involved into too much legal issues, we just want the love work.

If someone loves another and they want to share their lives I find no reason for marriage since, the only thing you need to share your live with another people is mutual agreement, so why to put legal problems and make your life traumatic when you find it doesn't work?

Divorce is caused because people's selfish, and even there are people who thinks that someone belongs (as in ownership way) to another. It doesn't work like that, if someone loves you he/she will understand when you feel that it don't work and leave, he/she will also understand that the love you have for each other is unique, faboulous and doesn't end (when it's true). If people see the whole picture this way i think most of common problems will be just something in our ancient human history.

Love means that you wish the best for the ones you love, it also means that the other feels the same for you, so as human who are always changing for bad or good, one must understand that people changes their mind, needs something else, something different. People who understands that will not feel afraid to loose his partner, will not feel threatned by other people involving their life, will not make their children pass for the traumatic experience of divorce and broken families, will not hate anyone, will not be afraid to love. Why to treath people's freedom to love when they are not the "usual" couples or they are more than a couple, if they love each other why treat them as "bad examples" in our society?

So what do you think? do you really love or you are just selfish?

como todavía no tengo ADSL me puse a ver en que puedo avanzar, asi que me puse a trabajar en Condorux (la metadistro de APESOL) y ya tengo casi finalizado el nuevo logo, algunos fondos de pantalla y el escritorio de usuario con GNOME 2.4, asi que puede que hayan novedades pronto.

Por otro lado hoy tuvimos la segunda reunión de trabajo con miras al convenio del proyecto Huascaran, se definieron los equipos de trabajo, la forma en que se plantearian las cosas y prácticamente la cosa va quedando en marcha para iniciar el trabajo concreto. Quedaron algunos temas pendientes que espero sean resueltos pronto para seguir trabajando sólidamente.

Today and last weeked I was a little productive, I've finished the DWN translation minihowto, it looks good. I'll upload to Alioth CVS repository as soon as I get my ADSL back. I've done some DWN translation also, I hope we can release the edition for tomorrow, together with original version. I'm reading Junichi's Library packaging guide in order to improve my FreeGLUT's Debian package quality, then I can upload both Torcs and freeglut to mentors, so Debian-Jr peeps can test it!

There's some po revision in the to-do list also, but I really need to sleep...
Oh! I was forgetting... now you have something to surf the Debian-way

Actually I need to sleep heh. Andaba jugando un rato con un nuevo diseño para un sitio web, y la verdad esta quedando bien bonito, solo faltan algunos detalles y creo que podré enviar el primer boceto para consulta popular.

Hoy^WAyer (yo siempre en el reino encantado) Antonio hizo una demo del futuro Planeta chicha (una especie de planet.gnome.org para otra especie de este mundo llamados chicheros, bueno pues él también hizo las famosas caritas, quedaron muy divertidas heh. Pero hay un pequeño detalle, que este blog todavía no esta en línea b00, asi que habrá que esperar un rato para aparecer alli.
Hablando de chicha, aca tengo mi cyborg name, beware!

Spectra anunció que fue publicado la entrevista que hiciera la televisión Brasileña, específicamente el programa Infomedia, en las que estan tocando el tema de software libre y todo lo que involucra, con motivo de esto ellos tocaron el tema de los hackers en el software libre, en la entrevista aparecen Pablo Lorenzonni, Fernanda Weiden, Cristiano Anderson y Marlon Dutra, todos miembros reconocidos del Proyecto Software Libre Brasil y PSL-RS. En la entrevista, ellos dejaron en claro que el ser hacker significa ser hábil en algo que uno disfrute haciendo, en este caso en el mundo informático es donde se ha hecho mas popular esta frase, asi mismo que los hackers siempre construyen las cosas con vocación social, tal es el caso de internet, la web, los protocolos de comunicación como TCP/IP, etc, buscan hacer cosas para el bien común a diferencia de los crackers que solo buscan notoriedad, no conocen lo que hacen, solo usan herramientas o crean algunas con el fin de destruir, y lo mas importante no tienen ningún respeto por la información. Por lo tanto no existe el término 'hacker malo', hacker es hacker y cracker es cracker. Además de esto ellos relatan como se iniciaron en el mundo de software libre, Fernanda cuenta que negocio con sus padres el hecho de que la cambiarán a una escuela pública, pues estaba en una privada, si con eso le compaban la computadora que tanto queria, que de hecho fue asi. Estuvo muy, tal vez la pueda subtitular (si es que el gsubtitle me es útil) y la podamos pasar en este evento que piensan hacer para pasar también revolution OS, incluso tal vez me animo y hacemos un debate sobre el tema :) ya veremos.

El día sabado tuvimos una reunión con motivo de una convocatoria por parte de un directivo del proyecto Huascaran quien tuvo una reunión preliminar con algunos miembros de la comunidad de software libre para esbozar la elaboración de un convenio el cual tiene como finalizad elaborar material educativo e informativo sobre el software libre y también la elaboración de un documento de recomendaciones técnicas para la implementación y uso de software libre dentro de este proyecto, cuyo fin es velar por la inclusión digital en las escuelas de estado.

Es una de las pocas veces en las que la comunidad de software libre de nuestro país tiene frente a si una propuesta de tal magnitud, por lo tanto una reunión con todos los involucrados se hacia necesaria. Primero se hizo una explicación de lo que esta persona desea y la forma como podriamos ayudar para esto, luego se inicio una ronda de discusiones y intercambio de ideas al respecto, que fue una de las cosas que tomaron mas tiempo, como es de esperarse, para finalmente tomar la decisión de trabajar en esto o no. Fue muy altentador y satisfactorio el ver que los participantes en forma unánime dieran su voto favorable para embarcarnos en este proyecto.

Realmente me da mucha alegría ya que estamos dando un paso mas adelante como una comunidad en conjunto que esta madurando y tomando las cosas con la importancia que ameritan. Es un gusto el que podamos trabajar de forma integrada y formando un solo frente para llevar el tema de software libre a todos los sectores del país. Espero que esta reunión donde estuvieron representantes de APESOL, PLUG, UTPINUX, UNMSM, URP, y algunos otros más, sirva como la semilla que nos permita crecer como movimiento y alcanzar objetivos y logros mayores en el futuro, de manera similar a comunidades de otros lugares como Brasil o España.

Estoy realmente muy contento y con muchas expectativas por esto y por supuesto con ánimos de trabajar para que todo esto sea haga realidad, es una de las cosas por las que estamos trabajando en APESOL y una de las razones de su fundación. Por otro lado es un sueño mio que se va haciendo realidad. Felicidades comunidad de software libre peruana, vamos adelante!

Estoy sin conexión a Internet y aunque pareciera que voy a caer en la crisis del dependiente ¿? pues no, es algo raro pero es divertido, porque no tengo muchas distracciones y puedo concentrarme un poquito mas (si, solamente poquito) heh, es que siempre ando divagando en el espacio b00.

Ya estamos finalizando la semana del resurgimiento ha sido buena, sin pánicos, y ya viene lo mejor... asi que preparense!
También estuve viajando en el espacio y me encontre con ella...

Well, I had to finish the admin page for DebConf4 site, it was about merging two pages and adding more features, but... the auth handling really sucked! so I was working to find a way to make it smooth and not so "super- secure", now I've got a working page with the two main features, so I think it's ok and I'll upload it later, since I don't have internet connection now.

In other news, as I've told you, I'm taking charge of coordination of DWN spanish translations. One of my tasks and goals is to have them on date and send the current translated DWN by email to debian-user-spanish. Well, it was ok until I've lose my inet conecction, so I had to do some nasty trick to send this edition.
I'm also finishing the DWN translation minihowto. I'm merging the work that Erick Lopez have done with my previous version. I hope this help us to get more people contributing to this translation and this leading them to become active part of Debian project. That's one of my other goals.

I was also dealing with freeglut library packaging, it's one of my first libary packages and even it works fine itself and also with torcs (the game that I'm packaging also) I still don't like how it looks. So this weekend I plan to mess with it to improve it.
