In the past I've ventured to start a Software Company HTU Networks. I've learned a lot working with such great team of people and being on the customer-facing side. For the previous years I've worked on the Financial and Telco industries in Lima, Peru. I've acted as OpenVMS Administrator for GMD on different projects but primarily at CAVALI/BVL. I've been Software Developer for Wireless Value Added Services (W-VAS) services (SMS-based), right after that I became Technical Consultant on W-VAS services for the marketing deparment, acting as technical coordinator head for new services implementations, development and deployment for, at that time, TIM Peru (currently América Móviles / Claro). I've also worked on QA and SLA specifications for solutions providers and my position involved orchestration with Customer Service, IT, Solution Providers and Handset Vendors, and eventually some handset testing.
I've been participating on Free Software movement for more than 10 years acting as Developer. Since 2006 I'm Debian Developer (you can check more on this here). Also founder of APESOL, being on its board for two terms. I've worked on different Free Software projects, initially on the l10n/i18n field and later as Developer.
You can get a glimpse of the projects I'm currently involved with here.
